Hey Meliss! Can you post your recipe for Warm Pears? I think that's what you call them? When I was over at the house the other day you were making them for Kirk and I was curious about them-- they sounded yummy:)
So I actually can't take the credit for coming up with this recipe. One night Kirk and I were at Deb and Jason's for dinner and she actually did this for desert. All you do is cut the pears in half and hull them out a little bit. Put them in a bowl that you are able to cover with a tight lid (to steam it) and drizzle a little bit of vanilla and sprinkle cinnamon all over the pears. Then cover the bowl and put in the microwave for about 5 min. After 5 min, stab the pair with a knife and if the knife goes through easily, they are done. Let them sit in the covered dish for a little bit and then enjoy. If they are not done, put them back in the microwave for a couple more min. These are really good plain, but also if you want to eat them with vanilla ice cream.
